De Nora DSA® anodes are efficiently and widely used worldwide in brine or sea water electrolysis, for chlor-alkali production, primary metals refining and many other electrochemical processes in which chlorine evolution represents the key anodic reaction.

De Nora was the first company to commercially develop mixed metal oxide (MMO) - coated metal anodes back in 1968, progressively replacing the under-performing graphite anodes. This technology revolutionized the process of producing chlorine and this technology became the benchmark for the chlor-alkali industry.
